IETI OFFICIALS ATTEND SAP CONFERENCE IN SINGAPORE

Dr. Horacio M. Montefrio who also serve as tour guide, photographer, and source of inspiration to all of us proud new travelers. With him are SD Marikina Mr. Rommel Halcon, SD Alabang Mrs. Melvie Alcedo, SD Imus Mr. Joel Mendoza, SD Caloocan Mr. Rolando Rodillo Jr., SD Las Pinas Mr. Joseph Peter Gacho Jr., SAP Trainers Mr. Erwin Bardoquillo – IETI Alabang and Mr. Noriel Cabacungan – IETI Lagro respectively.
The Conference was composed of four grueling days of lectures and hands-on training conducted by education and industry experts from different countries. The itinerary of the conference include the Main Conference, Introductory first day workshop, SAP Business Objects, Train-the-Trainer, 3rd day Workshop on Advance Business Application Program of ABAP Programming. The Filipinos, on the lighter side, enjoyed the industrial sights, famous landmarks and shopping places of which Singapore is famous of.
IETI is a member of the eight universities and Colleges of the Philippines which first offered SAP Training for its students. Students from IETI are privileged to have attended two semesters of training in this latest IT Technology. All the Philippines school access the SAP solution through hosting services provided as an SAP recommended University Competence Center (UCC). This UCC for Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region is situated in Australia. The Faculty knowledge ramp-up is managed through SAP conducted Faculty Workshops (Train-the-trainer Workshop) and the through use of SAP plug-n play course materials available in the University Alliances community portal and Collaboration Workspace (accessible by UA members only). This is multifaceted online environment that delivers the latest academic resources for bringing real life SAP knowledge and skills into the university classrooms and enhances related academic and research-oriented projects for professors and students.
